Console Collection

Hello! This is my video game log because I play video games sometimes. Sorry for making you look at the Nagito Komaeda beach jumpscare again in the year 2025, Dangan Ronpa is still one of my favorite game franchises of all time and I think SDR2 is the last time I felt alive. Don't read into that. I don't play a lot of video games to be quite honest... I want to play more but I just. Augh. My favorite games are story heavy ones and horror games. When I was like 13 I had no money and my Mom's old MacBook that really wanted to die so I played a lot of free RPG maker games. The only thing that has changed since then is that I now have a windows laptop that can hardly run Tumblr instead of my MacBook, may it rest in peace. This era of my life heavily influenced my interests, but since then I've also gotten a couple of consoles, mostly seventh gen stuff. I don't really buy newer consoles because the games are so costly. I would rather have a PS3 and be able to get lots of games for super cheap (especially since they are still very high quality), than buy the Switch2 and go broke buying a single copy of Mario Kart. This isn't to say I have no interest in modern gaming, I am seething with jealousy over everyone talking about Baulders Gate 3 and the new Spider-Man games (.../joke), I'm just broke as hell and would rather spend the money I do have on other things. I typically would rather buy digital games than physical ones. I have quite a few reasons for this: 1. I can sell them later 2. I can share games with friends easier 3. Doesn't take up as much storage 4. They're pretty 5. I like owning things (although that's not the case anymore for Switch2 physical games so...) 6. Backwards compatibility reasons 7. Many more probably. Although I won't insist upon buying physically if it is unreasonable to do so (Pokemon Soul Silver I'm looking at you).

I plan to add playthrough logs as well as reviews to this page, mostly because my memory is quite bad and I often forget what happened in the games I've played. The backlog will hopefully help remind me of what I have (I recently came into a large box of games so I don't remember each individual one, and they take up so much room on my shelf I had to hide some behind others) and encourage me to play new stuff instead of just replaying things I've already played. Also I just like my consoles so I want to display them here, I don't have a ton of interesting stuff but it is still fun!

Here are some of my favorite video games :]
