WHAT IS THIS SHRINE FOR???
this is a general page for all of the music games i like! i tend to prefer games about girls bands or girl idol groups but i'm also a big project sekai fan and dabble in ensemble stars so the scope for this site had to be broadened. my main game of choice is project sekai but i will also be adding sections for banG dream, love live, tokyo seventh sisters, ensemble stars, and potentially d4dj. also i include my UIDs for each of these games but please comment on my neocities profile or email me if you add me so i know who it is :]
PROJECT SEKAI: COLORFUL STAGE

project sekai is my favorite rhythm game of all time and i love it dearly. it follows five music groups as they overcome obstacles with the help of hatsune miku, and usually discover their true selves in the process. not only do i love all of the stories this game has to tell, i find it the most fun to play out of all of the music games i have. the button types are all simple and responsive and the song maps are super fun and satisfying! i also vastly prefer the straight-down note format compared to the curved ones found in love live games and ensemble stars.
project sekai: colorful stage has six main units, one virtual singer unit and five original units. the units all preform different types of music, from musical theatre, to idol music to EDM. all of the members of high schoolers (although of varying ages) who each attend one of two schools, a co-ed school (kamiyama high school) or an all girls school (miyamasuzaka girls academy).
UNITS!
virtual singers: "Singers through whom the creators of the world express their songs and feelings." (-pjsk) the virtual singer group is made up of six (making it the largest group in the game) vocaloids: hatsune miku, kagamine rin & len, megurine luka, KAITO, and MEIKO. in the project sekai universe these virtual singers can create a pocket dimension based on the true feelings of the other musicians in the game, where they assist them in reconciling their differences or finding their true selves, among other things. the virtual singers all have different apperances depending on which sekai they are in, taking on clothing, hairstyles, and even to a degree personalities, based on the world they inhabit. my favorite virtual singers are wonderlands x showtime luka, vivid bad squad len, and leo/need miku. while the english release of project sekai is called "hatsune miku: colorful stage", putting more of an emphasis on the vocaloid element of the game, these characters really act as support to the main original units, as they can not actually interact with the real world and don't have full stories focused on them like the original units do.

(-pjsk) leo/need is a music group that mainly preform j-rock music, the group is made up of four childhood friends who form a band in order to repair their broken friendship as teenagers. the four members are... more TBA

"A unique idol group formed by one girl with a dream, and three other girls who had given up on theirs." -project sekai: colorful stagemore more jump! is an idol group that consists of three ex-professional idols and one girl who has worked hard since she was a little kid to become an idol but never got her chance. there's minori hanasato ("More and more! Even moooore! In order to deliver hope to everyone!" -pjsk), haruka kiritani ("You'll definitely become an idol who's able to deliver hope and dreams to everyone!" -pjsk), airi momoi ("Wouldn't it be amazing if we could deliver hope to everyone?" -pjsk), and shizuku hinomori ("With everyone next to me, I want to shine as my own self." -pjsk).
prior to the events of pjsk, minori had been applying to every idol agency she could find, but she got rejected at every single audition, no matter how hard she tried, while haruka, airi, and shizuku had all become disilusioned with the idol industry and had lost their passion for their careers. however, after seeing how passionate minori is, as well as the ability to inspire people they posess as idols, the three decide to create an idol group with minori as their guiding force.
my favorite more more jump songs are: marshmay by MIMI, romeo & cinderella by doriko, dreamin chuchu by emon(tes), more! jump! more! by nayutalieN. as of may 2024 they have 18 commissioned songs and 17 key events.
